MEET THE BAND
Derek Martin
(Lead Vocals/Rhythm Guitar)
Born in a family of musicians, this Ottawa native picked up his first guitar at age 14. Country music has been running in his blood from an early age. Derek grew up listening to classics by Randy Travis, Alan Jackson, Travis Tritt, Tracy Lawrence and Billy Ray Cyrus. In 2015 his passion for music led him to playing solo gigs in venues across the Ottawa region. He then set his sights on bigger things and in 2016 formed Eastbound of Bytown.

Mark Castonguay
(Drums)
After getting his first drum set from his grandfather at the age of 8, Mark was hooked. He played in his high school band and later joined a blues band. He moved to Ottawa from Massena, New York in 2010 he played some open mic’s then met a good friend named Casey McCann of Eastbound of Bytown, his passion for music and love for the Country genre allowed him to fit right in. In his own words "They must have liked me because I’m still here and having a blast!!"

Casey McCann
(Lead Guitar)
For the last 22 years, Casey has been an active musician in Ottawa and the Ottawa Valley. As a member of the world's largest musical family there was no shortage of talent to learn from. Casey has been involved in numerous country, blues and rock n roll bands over his musical career and has been a "guitar and singer for hire" for the last number of years until finally coming to rest with Eastbound of Bytown.
